Math

  • Students use the properties of operations, the relationships between numbers, and place value understanding to add and subtract within 200. 
  • Students apply these operations to representing and solving various word problems. 

Literacy

  • Recount stories, including details about character, setting, problem, and resolution
  • Write and share an informative paragraph
  • Respond to reading with writing

Social Studies

  • Exploring how NYC changed over time
  • Students learning about the flag of Trinidad and Tobego
  • Students listening to Assistant Principal Ms. Jennifer Velasco
  • Students sharing a book at a desk
  • Students sitting together on the floor sharing a book

  • Skip count by 10s off the decade
